Helibug Z90-RCT7 for TZ90-V2 / Frenzy 90 - Available Now!
Flying/Build Level Required for this Conversion Kit: Intermediate

This Conversion is for Belt-Drive Version of TZ90-V2

This is the newest line of Helibug Gasser Conversion kit based on TZ90-V2/Frenzy 90 Helicopter with Zenoah RC Series of engines.

Most of the people have overlooked this model helicopter from China including myself but, after getting a lot of email inquiries about this model and requests to produce a conversion for this, i thought, lets see if the helicopter is worth.

I have bought the TZ90-V2 few months ago...I was totally surprised by the quality of Aluminum parts used in this Heli...and decided to go for the conversion...

Being a designer, I rate the quality of CNC Machined Aluminum parts as double in comparison with the Trex700. A+ quality for the parts used...I don't want to mention names, but, the quality of aluminum parts in TZ90-V2 beats any other helicopter parts quality, manufactured by others in the industry...now, for the stock frames although you wont need those, but, the quality is definitely not gradable...i was not happy with the frame material and machining (don't want to comments more on it)...anyway, who needs the frames when it comes to Helibug Conversion Smile

We took the best out of TZ90-V2 and produced the best conversion kit for this Heli...Helibug frame material/machining quality is 20 times better than the ones used in TZ90-V2.

Our conversion kit uses 6.5 Gear Ratio with the TZ90-V2 stock main gear. Conversion kit comes with a 14T Pinion. To make it even simpler, we have adopted few parts from Trex700/Trex600 since they are available everywhere along with the few upgrades from QuickUK and Lynx.

Here is the list of parts included in Helibug Conversion Kit:
1. Side Frames
2. Clutch Mount w/ 1xM6 Screw
3. Base Plate
4. Engine Mount Plates w/ 4xM4 Screws
5. 14T Pinion (6.5 Gear Ratio)
6. 5mm ID Bearing to accommodate Trex700 Start Shaft
7. Flange bearing to be used on top of start shaft

Parts from Trex700 used in this conversion: Clutch bell, Clutch and Start shaft. Fuel tank and 4x frame mount is from Trex600...

main reason of not using the stock fuel tank was very obvious - quality. stock fuel tank is made up of very low quality material and wont last long on gasoline...another reason was space.

anyway, moving forward to the build, frame design is 100% similar to the stock, so no change in any servo linkage lengths...note that our frames are identical to each other....much easier than different Left or Right frame.

Throttle servo location is also relocated, as you can see from the design.

for the best and easy build, keep the base plate and engine base screws loose, this is the last thing you should do to tight these screws:

We have included a Bearing to replace the Stock bearing from the Pinion Mount Bearing Block. You will need to replace the bearing from the stock bearing block. This mod is require to accommodate the different start shaft diameter on the bearing block:

Here's how you need to install the clutch bell/shaft/pinion on the main bearing block...
Also, we have included a small flange bearing, which will go on the top of the start shaft:

You will also need to remove the bearing from the stock frames, just push it and it will right out without any hesitation:
